Pensacola, FL – Pedestrian Killed in Hwy 98 Car Accident

Pensacola, FL (March 7, 2025) – A pedestrian lost his life Wednesday night after being struck by a tractor-trailer on Highway 98 in Escambia County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 9:04 p.m. near Skyhawk Drive. The victim, identified as a 42-year-old man from Flomaton, Alabama, was walking in the middle of the roadway when he was hit. Authorities stated that the truck driver, a 57-year-old man from Palm Coast, Florida, "failed to see" the pedestrian before the collision.
