Car Accidents in Florida
Car accidents are an unfortunate reality on Florida’s roads, often caused by the negligence of careless or reckless drivers. One of the leading causes of these accidents is distracted driving. When drivers divert their attention from the road to send a text, eat, or adjust the radio, they increase the likelihood of causing a serious crash. Despite laws aimed at minimizing these distractions, the issue remains a significant threat to road safety.
Those involved in car accidents often suffer severe injuries that require extensive medical care. In Florida, the no-fault insurance system means that each driver’s insurance is responsible for covering their medical bills and lost wages, no matter who is at fault. However, if your injuries are serious, you may be eligible to file a personal injury claim to seek compensation for additional damages, such as pain and suffering.
