Car Accidents in Florida

Drivers can find themselves in car accidents at any given moment, with various factors contributing to these incidents. Some common reasons for car accidents include:

  • Distracted Drivers: Accidents involving distracted drivers often occur when individuals are not focused on the road. Distractions such as texting, adjusting the radio, or reaching for items in the vehicle can lead to hazardous situations.
  • Driving Conditions: Poor weather conditions like rain or snow can greatly impact a driver's ability to control their vehicle. Combined with inadequate highway maintenance and lighting, these conditions can swiftly escalate into dangerous scenarios.
  • Driving Under The Influence: Driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol remains a significant cause of car accidents in the United States. Impaired drivers jeopardize the safety of other road users, increasing the risk of severe physical injuries.
  • Product Liability: While less frequent, instances of vehicle malfunctions can also lead to accidents. Uncontrollable acceleration, brake failures, or other unintended responses from vehicles can rapidly escalate a situation. Product liability accidents, such as vehicle fires or acceleration jams, can be complex to prove, emphasizing the importance of retaining an experienced lawyer to advocate on your behalf.
