A motor vehicle accident reported in the Panama City area on Tuesday afternoon resulted in injuries. The police, firefighters, and paramedics were requested at the scene at around 1:50 p.m. on July 30th.

According to local law enforcement reports, vehicles collided on East Highway 22. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway near Highway 2297. Disruptions were reported in the area for more than 30 minutes as emergency officials remained on site. At least one person involved in the crash was injured in had to be transported to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
