Wewahitchka, FL – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on Pleasant Rest Rd

Wewahitchka, FL (December 12, 2024) – On Wednesday evening, December 11, emergency officials were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

At around 5:20 p.m., vehicles collided in the 300 block of Pleasant Rest Road. Emergency crews responded by closing part of the intersection to care for the injured and clear vehicles from the scene. Medical teams transported victims to nearby hospitals. The investigation into the accident remains active.
