Walton Co., FL – Man Loses Life in US-98 Crash at Professional Place
Walton Co., FL (August 29, 2024) - A man from Santa Rosa Beach lost his life as a result of a fatal accident on Wednesday in Walton County. The Florida Highway Patrol was notified of the accident during the morning hours on August 28.
According to official reports, a car and an SUV collided at the intersection of US Highway 98 and Professional Place. The force of the collision caused the SUV to proceed forward. The second vehicle went off the roadway and landed in a ditch before catching on fire. A 46-year-old man involved in the accident was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by authorities.
