Emergency crews were informed that their assistance was needed on-site at a car crash in the Tallahassee area. The incident was reported to officials at around 2:10 p.m. on August 19.
According to police reports, a motor vehicle accident blocked multiple lanes on the eastbound side of Interstate 10. The incident caused delays near mile marker 194. The police and firefighters rushed to the scene and immediately secured the road. Paramedics were notified that they were needed at the scene to care for injured victims. At least one person involved in the crash required further medical care and was transported to a local hospital. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
