Car Accidents in Florida

Car accidents are an unfortunate part of life on Florida roads, with many of these incidents caused by reckless or negligent drivers. Distracted driving is a leading factor in these accidents. Whether it involves texting, eating, or even adjusting the radio, taking your eyes off the road for just a few seconds can lead to severe consequences. Although Florida has laws in place to address distracted driving, it continues to be a major problem.

When motor vehicle accidents happen, victims often sustain serious injuries that require extensive medical treatment. In Florida, understanding the no-fault insurance system is essential when filing a personal injury claim after a crash. Under this system, each driver’s insurance is responsible for covering their own medical expenses and lost wages, regardless of who is at fault for the accident. However, victims can still file personal injury claims to seek compensation for other damages, such as pain and suffering or long-term disability.
