Emergency officials were notified that they were needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Quincy area on Sunday evening, August 11.

At around 4:15 p.m., an unknown number of vehicles collided on the westbound side of Interstate 10. The Florida Highway Patrol and firefighters arrived at the scene and immediately closed off a large portion of the roadway near mile marker 184. Crews worked quickly to remove the involved vehicles from the road. Paramedics were notified that they were needed at the scene to care for victims and to transfer those who required further medical attention to local hospitals. At this time, the police department is investigating the crash.

Our thoughts go out to the injured victims. We hope they recover quickly.

Car Accidents in Florida

Every year, tens of thousands of people in Florida are injured in accidents, which can lead to significant pain and difficulties in daily life. What makes these situations even worse is that many of these injuries are caused by the careless actions of other people, which makes dealing with the aftermath even more frustrating since these accidents could often have been prevented.

After an accident, victims often face low settlement offers from insurance companies that do not cover all their expenses. These offers usually fall short of covering lost wages, medical bills, treatment costs, and other damages resulting from the accident. Instead of accepting these inadequate settlements, victims should seek the help of a Quincy car accident lawyer. A lawyer can help protect their rights and ensure they get the compensation they are truly entitled to.
