April 28th of each year is nationally recognized as Workers Memorial Day. This is an opportunity to pay our respects to and recognize those who have been injured or lost their lives on the job. These on the job injuries and deaths are tragic losses to many families and the communities across our country. The past year has been particularly significant due to the impact of COVID-19 and the increased loss of first responders and essential workers. The attorneys and staff of Syfrett, Dykes & Furr want to take this opportunity to remember and honor those health care workers, maintenance and sanitation people, grocery workers, delivery drivers, food service workers, law enforcement officers, teachers and so many others who put themselves at risk to help others and keep our communities safe. Our firm remains committed to helping Florida’s injured workers and families and supporting efforts to improve worker safety.
