Injured Workers’ Pharmacy (IWP) is a company that delivers medication to the victims of on-the-job accidents. People who require drugs to treat their work injury and are recovering workers’ compensation benefits can use IWP to get their medications without needing to go to the pharmacy.

Benefits of IWP

IWP offers work injury victims an easy, convenient way to get their medications. With IWP, injured employees can avoid the hassles and costs that many people involved in workers’ compensation claims encounter.

Injured Workers’ Pharmacy offers the following benefits to injured workers:

  • Next-day medication delivery
  • Informed pharmaceutical guidance
  • Direct communication with workers’ compensation doctors and insurance companies
  • Experienced, knowledgeable, multilingual staff
  • No out-of-pocket expenses — prescription costs are paid by workers’ compensation insurance providers
  • Quality medications (including brand-name drugs and over-the-counter products)
  • Automatic prescription refill option
  • Licensed in every state

How IWP Works

To access the services of Injured Workers’ Pharmacy, you must first complete the enrollment process and activate your account. Once you are enrolled, IWP will work with your workers’ compensation doctor to discuss your treatment plan and begin sending you the medications you need. Your workers’ compensation doctor can send your prescriptions directly to IWP. Once your account is established and your prescriptions have been sent to Injured Workers’ Pharmacy, your medications will be delivered to your home. IWP monitors each of their members’ accounts to stay informed on the treatment and send refills when needed. Members who require refills can also request a refill themselves through the IWP Patient Portal or enroll in the automatic refill program.

Injured Workers Pharmacy is more than a medication delivery service. Throughout the progression of your work injury, IWP will continue to work with your workers’ compensation doctor to ensure your treatment is up-to-date. IWP also advises their members and can answer any pharmaceutical questions you may have.
